Christopher Daly, Executive Chef, Culinary Educator and founder of the company HipSnacks, has recently collaborated with Crooked Brook, makers of the “World’s Highest Quality Chef Jackets”, to help design and create a new look for the brand. Since the chef jacket is the most recognized element of the chef uniform, Chris wanted one that would coordinate with his brand and the packaging of his newest creation the Chocolate HIP Cookie.

Chef Dalys custom chef coat is a double breasted style Mens 108K, in an eggplant-colored, organic cotton twill with a mandarin collar and natural abalone shell buttons that complement both the vibrant colors of the HipSnacks logo embroidered on the left chest and the beautiful color of the chef jacket itself.

In addition to the chef jacket, a waist apron (style 700) also in eggplant-colored, organic cotton twill was designed to complete the chefs signature look. In the future Christopher will have an ensemble to correspond with each of his new products products whose sales help fund programs to raise awareness about childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes, in addition to promoting healthy eating habits for children and their families.

About Christopher Daly

Chef Daly was educated at the Culinary Institute of America and did his externship at the world renowned Beverly Hills restaurant, LOrangerie. By extending his externship, Daly also served as Chef de Cuisine at Rose Caf?.

In 1990 Daly accepted a position as Chef DPartie at Checkers in Los Angeles where he worked with Thomas Keller and Robert Gadsby. He remained in California for several years with positions Chef de Cuisine at the Santa Monica Yacht Club; Los Angeles International Culinary Institute (LAICI) and as Sous Chef at Tatou Beverly Hills.

By 1993 he was in New York as the Executive Chef of the 140-seat West Broadway Restaurant Gallery Bar. His next assignment landed him at the Plaza Hotel as the chef in charge of The Edwardian Room where he earned the DiRona Award in 1996 and 1997.

To Date Hip4Kids has educated over 200,000 children and their parents here and across the country. To facilitate funding for Hip4Kids Daly has also created Hip World Foods, his answer to The Next Paul Newman Company Sales of the products provide the funding for Hip4Kids and Daly has 5 US Food Patents employed in the creation of 200 functional food products, his first The Chocolate HIP Cookie was first rolled out for a special event for Dr.Oz in Grand Central Terminal has appeared on Rachael Rays Healthy Snack of the Day Daly continues to teach, cook privately and consult as well as helming Hip4Kids and is looking forward to an ambitious jobs creation program he has been planning to launch with local schools for community chef teachers that would work through their schools and Hip4Kids to continue bringing programming to New Yorks neediest neighborhoods.
